How to Make Your Own Non-Dairy Milk
Making non-dairy milk at home is easy with these recipes.

It can be surprising when making the switch to non-dairy milk just how often it is needed during everyday life. From drinking coffee with milk to using it in many recipes, it can be a challenge to omit milk. Instead of relying on commercially produced types of milk, make them at home with these easy recipes.
Almond Milk Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup raw almonds soaked in water for six hours
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbs. raw agave
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain through a strainer or chinois.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 36 hours.
Cashew Milk Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup raw cashew nuts soaked in water for four hours
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup ice
- 1 Medjool date, pitted, or 1 tsp. raw agave
- 2 frozen bananas, peeled
- 2 Tbs. raw cacao powder (optional)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- Pinch of Celtic sea salt
Instructions:
- Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Store in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 36 hours.
Hemp Milk Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup hemp seeds
- 1 Tbs. raw agave, or 2 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or orange zest
Instructions:
- Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Store in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 36 hours.
